With the Xmas Excesses over we find the vineyard to be a greeen oasis in what is now a parched Marlborough countryside. Bunch closure on all varieties is in progree and we are busy leaf pluckibg the fruitzone care of Dave Pigou and his Collard machine. Fruitset looks decidely average in places and we will be doing bunch counts over the nest few weeks to put in our crop estimates for the coming vintage. SH |
