What a season we are having in the vineyard. The weather is all over the place. In the last month we have had a maximum of 34.7 degrees and many other days over 30 degrees. Mixed in with this has been 100mm rain. Veraison is happening and the Grapeworx gang has been busy bunch thinning. Yes, we are dropping Sauvignon Blanc on the gound!! In fact, around 3.5t/ha. This would have been classed as lunacy this time last vintage, however, these are extraordinary times. SH |
