| Spring is well under way now with the buds out and the frost risk at its highest over the next month. With a full moon appearing on the 8th November we will have fingers crossed that this event, usually signifying cold clear nights either side of it proves a fizzer on the frost front. The grass after incessant rain continues to power away so the mower is getting a workout as we maintain short grass inter-row. The fruit trees have had a rough time with the wet and cold conditions so I don’t think we will have a bumper crop this year by the looks so all hope is pinned on the cherries performing as they flower a lot later and seem less affected.
