T.H.E Viognier 2010 was the feature wine matched with Ray McVinnies recipe for Bubar Pulut Hitam, a warm, black rice porridge with a sweet and salty flavour.

 

John Saker, Cuisine NZ wine writer said

 

“Not an easy ask, finding a wine to match Asian sweet coconut flavours. But the exotic charm of this Marlborough Viognier with its stone fruit and cereal notes should do the trick”.
