The idea was to have something bold, simple, stark and memorable.
I think we have succeeded on that and as a result have had a raft of opinions on the merits of embarking on such a risky approach. Being conservative was not an option. Although maybe safe in the short term, the consensus was that it had been done to death and a new fresh branding was the way to go.
Having used various horizontal and vertical incarnations of the THE with brushstrokes we have now, with the help of Belinda Jackson, totally rebranded in a fresh innovative leap forward to encompass the vineyard in all its glorious colours and recognise the immense input the grapes have in the wine we produce.
Comments have ranged from memorable, to too quirky to be taken seriously, Asian, too out there, what The???, and many other pearls of wisdom that have been respectfully taken on board.
Basically it is memorable !!
